Forget flying cars and jelly ray guns, Professor Bunsen at DNA Kids Laboratories has created the greatest invention ever… our Wacky Science Party!

The excitement begins with our awesome, music-based science themed party games which include lots of fun science themed props to really capture the children's imagination! 

After the food break, the children will then sit down to watch the wackiest of science shows hosted by our brilliant wacky scientist. Our interactive wacky science show is packed full of hilarious science experiements to surprise and delight the children in equal measure. Science has never been so much fun!

Our Wacky Science Party also comes with a colourful kids' disco, bubble, snow or smoke machine, prizes galore and lots more!

We start with our exciting, music-based science themed party games suitable for 6 – 11 year olds which feature lots of fun science themed props!

After the party games and a food break, our hilarious scientist will perform lots of wacky science experiments for 30 - 40 minutes, including fiery bubbles, awesome air guns, gooey slime and explosive mini rockets to name but a few!

Trained by none other than Professor Bunsen himself (DNA Kids leading wacky scientist), our brilliant children’s entertainer will take full control of your child’s birthday party, so that you can sit back and enjoy all the fun too!

Whilst you relax and watch the party, the children will be completely engaged and entertained by our lively children's entertainer/wacky scientist. 

Also, being mobile kids’ entertainers, simply book a local party venue (or host in your garden) and we will bring the science fun to you!

For peace of mind, we offer replacement kids’ entertainer cover (subject to availability) and our wacky scientists are DBS checked.

Special Little Scientists

The birthday child will be made to feel special throughout the party, including them assisting our wacky scientist with some epic science experiments and making their own slime to take home!*

During the party games, the birthday child will be made team leader, start off each party game, join in fun routines with the entertainer and guaranteed to win a prize or two! 

They will also receive a super-cool Professor Bunsen wacky scientist medal in our big finale, the DNA Birthday Kid Grand Presentation!

How Our Wacky Science Party Works

Our step-by-step guide to hosting your perfect DNA Kids party...


  1. Call our helpful party advisors on 01245 401 401 for further information, quotes and availability or get a quote online
  2. Book your Wacky Science Party online or call us on 01245 401 401 - please note, a credit or debit card deposit is required at time of booking
  3. Hire a local party venue (village or church hall, community centre etc.) or host in a large home space or garden - we come to you! 
  4. Purchase your party food, party-ware, decor, birthday cake, party bags etc. - we provide the party entertainment only 
  5. Your scientist will arrive 45 mins before the party starts to set-up their disco equipment - they will take 45 mins to set down too1
  6. Your scientist will run the party for you - the children will play lots of science themed party games with dancing sections in-between!
  7. Your scientist will break halfway through the party so that you can feed the children (typically 20 - 30 mins) - they will set-up the science show during the break
  8. Your scientist will get the children to sing Happy Birthday to the birthday child/ren - you would need to bring out the birthday cake2
  9. After the food break your scientist will perform a hilarious and interactive wacky science show!
  10. At the end of the party the children will go home happy and hopefully very tired!
  11. Your scientist packs away - please pay them the remaining party balance
  12. Go home, put your feet-up and enjoy a well- deserved cup of tea or glass of wine!


1. For upstairs venues, 1 hour is needed to set-up and down. Extra time needed for optional light-show upgrades.  2. Birthday parties only

How much does a Wacky Science Party cost?

*Our lines are open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 4pm Saturday. We are closed Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Do I need to hire a party venue?

Yes. Being mobile children's entertainers we come to you!

This means you will need to hire a local venue to hold your Wacky Science Party in, such as:*

  • Village Hall
  • Community Centre
  • Church Hall
  • Sports Club
  • Leisure Centre
  • Pub/Restaurant/Hotel Function Room
  • Conservative/Labour Club
  • School


*For a ground floor party venue, we would need 45 minutes before the party to set-up and 45 minutes to set down afterwards. This means if your party is 2 hours long, please hire your venue for 3.5 hours. For upstairs venues, please allow 1 hour to set-up and 1 hour to set down, i.e. hire your party venue for 4 hours.

What do I need to supply for the party?

As children's entertainers, we will take care of the party entertainment only.

This means you would need to supply the party venue (with two 13 amp plug sockets) and the following party related items should you wish:

  • Party Food
  • Birthday Cake
  • Party-ware (plates, cups etc.)
  • Decorations
  • Party Bags
  • Any other party related items
